Oh no the car....

Well the week started off well as my eldest had a activity day with a friend doing Archery, Falconry and Wood Crafts, but on the way home our car decided to play up, so now we have no car, so had to cancel a number of things and one very important catch up with my best friend who i haven't seen for a while which made me very sad :(
But we have been busy going for local walks, the boys have started making some volcano pencil holders and very busy doing science experiments.

Hope everyone is enjoying the half term if their kiddies are in school and  enjoying the sunshine being out. More soon.

A New Collage and Week Three of Home School/ Education/Life whatever you prefer!

Evening All,

Had another busy day but also a nice treat to the movies to see "Big Hero 6" which was great really funny. The Boys are still slowly getting into things asking to read, do a bit of Maths and English amongst all the Art & Crafts we always do. We had a charity shop hunt in the snow (it didn't settle) for resources and found some great new things, lots of books for Maths and English, two Science kits and even a silk painting kit all unused, brilliant, I have to be honest never thought of hitting these shops until a bunch of people advised doing it that also home Eddin their children.

I am slowly getting my book ready for my uni exam but feeling a bit lost there I think overwhelmed making sure my boys are fine its on my mind at the moment and can't concentrate on much else, hoping that will pass next week as really need to crack on with things. Managed however to get a new collage done during the day with the boys doing there bits too.
Just checking in really, just to say hi.

Week Two of home schooling, i think? Meant to be de schooling but boys have wanted to do stuff....

Hey All,

Well I think it's week two! Yes of our home schooling journey. We have had a few days indoors in a row as it has been cold with even a little snow and my eldest really does feel the cold, bless him so we try and keep him well and warm. We did however go out for a little bike ride/walk but not for too long as too chilly.

We have been playing a lot of board games, Game of Life! and Monopoly are favourite's at the moment, we have been learning maths and reading with readingeggs http://readingeggs.co.uk/ and mathseeds http://mathseeds.co.uk/ my eldest has been reading and doing his maths on  https://www.khanacademy.org/math . So pretty busy considering they well my eldest is meant to be de schooling, we have also been looking at Harry Potter as both my boys really love the movies and books, we are at the start of making our own spells and spell books, we did a few experiments yesterday with food colouring, baking soda and vinegar that went down treat coloured foam every where.
My boys always have done lots of art and crafts as its part and parcel of having a mum artist like me, they took part in one of my Life book 2015 classes http://www.willowing.org/life-book-2015/ on a Feather Affirmation and they did a wonderful job and enjoyed listen and watching Tamara very much, how could you not she is just awesome, check her page out you won't regret it at all.
