Mindful!

This last few days we have had the lurgy monster in our little home, needless to say patients has been in short supply with the wee ones and the bigger ones of the house, and boredom has been flowing, boy has it been flowing.
Trying to stay mindful and patient with a splitting head, nose full of cotton wool and a cough like the engine of a 500 year old tractor has been tough to say the least. However light is upon the horizon and the sun is shining through the windows this morning though there is a chill in the air. I am hoping that we do not have so many bugs this winter time as its always hard in our house with big boys kidneys to look after as well as the general concerns when children are ill.
Here's to health and happiness wherever you are :o)

Summer Past.

Well summer has left our shores and joined our friends around the globe, lucky devils. The cough and sniffles of the colder months have already reach my little house and trying to entertain two little boys has been some what challenging just lately.
But we are going off craft shopping today to build up our some supply and drag out and dust off some more Halloween decorations, in hope of putting smiles on some poorly faces.

This is alittle taste of some happier warmer times at a steam fayre, what a fab day it was ;o) What is happening your end of the world?

Alittle artist under the roof.

Before I settle down for some uni work, I wanted to share this with you guys today.

After taking the boys out for a teddy bears picnic this morning I thought a nice relaxing activity indoors would be fun. So out came paper, pencils, crayons etc and one of my art books which I open out to a lovely painting by Van Gogh called " The Church at Auvers".

I asked the boys if they would like to draw there own picture along the same idea as what they saw or really whatever they liked. Donny doodle for alittle bit then was building towers and sorting out the crayons whilst Bodie really got stuck in humming away to himself, just wanted to share what he did with you I think its awesome.

Being mum....

Do mums not get tired, fed up, tearful or exhausted!!!!" Sometimes I feel like i should be some sort of robot that should be able to do everything. To keep a spotless house ( well in that case I have failed from the off).
I go to bed absolutely shattered every night and this is not early either and I haven't got done even 50% of what needs to be done let alone what i'd like to do :-/
Am I always going to feel like this?????
