Around here lately.

Good day, hope this finds you well! I wish I could say the same about my home, unfortunately after scarlet fever a dreadful cold paid a visit we now have yet another winter bug three of us down with a awful winter cold just awful makes you feel really pants :o( not sure how many more Uk winters my lovely family can take!
Anyhow we did have a nice Valentines and I did take part in a lovely swap that I enjoyed making some bits for, see photos below for what i made i also added some yummy chocolates to this too, i'm waiting on my swap partner as she has been busy but you can check out what it was all about on this lovely ladies blog http://tracypscrapheap.blogspot.com/2014/01/valentines-swap-2014.html

What's been going on...

Not sure what it is like in your neck of the woods but it is sure wet and windy here, when will this rain ever end, the river down the road has burst its banks in many parts and causing problems, nothing like some other parts of the country where there has been awful flooding, lets hope that dry days are on the horizon.

Those no longer here....

I was thinking just now on the way home from my mum and dad's about my Grandad Steve (Mum's dad) how he would have been just like me!
When I say like me I mean with similar loves, worries, dreams and so on. He had 6 children 2 girls and 4 boys and life must have been hard sometimes. But he would have had dreams for his children and himself and his wife (my nan).

Just strange to think the lives that those we love in some cases has ended, as we know it. But I'm sure there must be something next, such wonderful loving souls can't just end I don't believe that at all.

Just my thoughts.

Tree's.

Lots going on here at the moment good and bad, I'm taking part in a Valentine's Swop which I will do a post about nearer the time, so have been busy making things for that. I also have been painting some stones for my stone exchange and the first one got sent off this week to a lovely lady and again I will talk about this more in another post.

Today I just wanted to have myself abit of a cheer up, as those who may have read my blog before may know that my eldest beautiful boy has chronic kidney disease and hyper tension. He has been poorly the last  few days very hot and now a rash on his chest behind his ears and on his wee tummy, so off we went to the doctor and he has Scarlet Fever!!! not that common, so he is on meds for that and hoping he will be feeling much better real soon.
However myself and my husband always get very anxious when he is unwell as it really does knock him around and with the underlying condition we have to be careful with him. It also brings back awful memories and sometime guilt even though I know its not our fault, you still feel it.

So after all that I wanted to share with you some of my fav artist and the trees they paint/make etc as I adore them, please check them out for yourselves.
