It has been a wee while since I have been on here, things have been a bit tough as of late.
I have been quite ill with a lung infection and as always left it until it had become unbearable to go to the doctors, so after a course of antibiotics and steroids I am very slowly feeling a bit better.
Unfortunately in the mean time my wonderful mum has become poorly :o( (trying to think positive) so I am very concerned about her, the house is a mess, got tons of uni work to do on top of lots of other things, lets just say it has been tough. Prior to this I always felt a huge relief when at the gym or doing yoga and at the moment I just don't have a spare moment to myself and when I do all I want to do is lie in bed or at least sit down and have a cuppa.
On a brighter note I finally have taken some more photos of some of my art and have some great ideas buzzing around in my head that will evolve in time.
I also get to send off my stationary swap soon and a handmade gift for a friend (exciting), she's a Gemini like me. I'm hoping the next few months will be full of good happy positive things that I can share and maybe even the odd surprise would be nice.
Hope you out there are having lots of creative adventures and remenber keep your loved ones close and treasured always, Ems xxxx

Birthdays and busy.
Well our little house has had a lot of excitement lately we have had my eldest sons birthday and my husbands to celebrate then it was mummy's day, which has been wonderful. Plus I have also been trying to get some uni work done and things made for a stall i'm having at a local craft bazaar over Easter.
How has everyone been spending their time?
I made this for my hubbies birthday and he loves it :o)

Away with the fairies...
I have been away with the fairies a bit recently here and there soooo many things to do, people to catch up with, uni work and ideas so many ideas maybe too many that i want to do all at once and just can't, new skills i want to learn and courses i want to go on, to be around more inspired and creative people.
It would be real easy for me to get overwhelmed and lost and maybe disheartened, but i shall not allow that to happen (I hope). I need some meeeeeeeeeeeeee time i wana go back to the gym and get back into yoga which i both loved and use to be addicted too before two little boys took up any free time i had, don't get me wrong i love them more than anything but sometimes it would be just nice to have alittle Me, do you know what i mean!

A Good Day.
Well I must say I hope that your day has been as good as mine!
Firstly, off course I woke up to my four gorgeous boys (lovely husband, my awesome 2 boys and the cuddly cat, that's always hungry).
Then the day began, today I managed to finish my collage that I really enjoyed making it was a pleasure and I'm happy with it how it turned out, it's up for sale in my etsy shop so I'm hoping someone will like it enough to want it mixed-media-collage.
I also received the most gorgeous parcel with earrings from one of my favorite shops owned by the lovely Gabriela Pomplova GPyoga I am smitten with them and shall be purchasing more from Gabriela when I can again, the packaging was delightful and hand written card so speacil.
This week I also received another lovely package from my swap partner the lovely Ellie from the wonderful blog feltabulous she had made me the most beautiful brooch I could have hope for plus a lovely bracelet and card, Thank you Ellie :o) I so enjoyed our swap and hope you had fun too xxxx Also thanks Jo from Three Stories High for arranging the swap in the first place, I hope you do another soon.

Ya! A Early Birthday Pressies and Busy Busy Busy.
It's only Wednesday and what a week so far, aye!
Had a awesome weekend catching up with one of my favourite people who I have known forever and her lovely hubbie and gorgeous children, I was buzzing when we left alas sad but feeling great after such a nice time, definitely going to do it more often.
I have also been busy making brooches, two of which I sent off this week as part of a exchange and a few others to give as gifts so cannot share any photos at this stage (sorry!) I have started a new collage and been busy doing uni work, whilst arranging my soon to be 8 year olds birthday. He had a awesome surprise today, a friend of mine Rich (Rhythms) wanted to make him his very own djembe drum as a surprise as he knows what a battle Bodie has had and everything and just said he would like to make him a drum, how totally awesome, kind hearted, gorgeous thing to do. It was a total surprise for my lovely boy and a gift he will treasure forever, Thanks Rich we love you :o)
Please check out this cool guy he is on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rich-Rhythms/242012487098 he is a dream on the drums and does workshops etc for schools and gigs, great for home school group, parties too
Hope everyone is great and life is good, Emma
